Welcome to Sweet Gum Mini Farm. We (Ashley, Steve, Hannah and Matthew) are the Capps family and we live on a small farm in the northwest part or foothills of South Carolina. We started our little farm officially in 2005 when we started raising dairy goats but we began with chickens before then. We have dabbled in a little of nearly everything over the years and dairy goats have always been a large factor on our farm.
Take a look around our site and if you have any questions or comments feel free to ask. We are not open to the public for tours but we definitely don't mind talking about animals. Goats are back!
I missed having goats too much to continue without them and I know what my true calling is. So we brought four goats home (one is Elise and two granddaughters of hers) as well as a Nigerian. They've been here a year now. We have several more arriving soon too!
